El Calentón Ep. 07: Coming out of the shadows, sin miedo: The history of our movement

In this episode we were accompanied by our Political Director and Immigration Organizer / Badass activist, Tania Unzueta. We discussed the history of the immigration movement, and took a trip down memory lane to March 10th, 2006 when over 100,000 protesters flooded Chicago’s downtown Loop.

¿Qué ha pasado en nuestro movimiento desde entonces? What wins, losses and lessons have been key in our growth and development as an organization. Hablamos de eso y más… ¡ojo! 👀 También le dimos su chancletazo🩴a Biden for the use of the term "illegal" in his State of the Union speech.

Hosted by: Aliana Bigio, Cinthya Rodriguez and Jorge Gonzalez

Produced by: Vladimir Pérez Carrucini
